Bridging the Gap’s webinar-based training cycle available in Portuguese

Thanks to the collaboration between Bridging the Gap and the project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS)PIN – participative paths for the economic inclusion of young people with disabilities in Mozambique – AID11460″, led by the Italian Non-governmental organisation “Amici di Raoul Follereau” (AIFO) and in partnership with Terres des Hommes and the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCOS)Bridging the Gap’s webinar-based training cycle have been translated and subtitled in Portuguese.

PIN is funded by AICS as part of the “Disability, Education, Employment, Information and Communication Technologies initiative”. Through its collaboration with Bridging the Gap, Portuguese speakers now have access to the 12 training sessions on disability and development held by Bridging the Gap in 2018-2019.

These sessions gradually explore different aspects of the inclusion of persons with disabilities in international cooperation, from the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to more specific topics such as inclusive education, universal access to health, women and girls with disabilities, social protection, etc.

The 12 webinars in Portuguese are now available on Bridging the Gap’s Youtube channel and in the Multimedia area of the project website.
