Bridging the Gap project will celebrate its 2018 Annual Event in Madrid, Spain, on November 28th, 2018 – 9:15am-13:30pm at Casa Árabe (C/ Alcalá, 62, 28009 Madrid, Spain).

This year’s event focuses on inclusive education, an obligation for all States parties to the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and a crucial theme for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Bridging the Gap contributes to the achievement of the inclusive education CRPD’s and SDGs’ goals with, in particular, its activities in Ecuador and Paraguay.

The debates, in form of open roundtables, will tackle the topic from the angle of data generation and use, and gender mainstreaming: what are the main current challenges in the field? Which solutions can be proposed? And how can international cooperation contribute to the achievement of the CRPD’s and SDGs’ objectives? Come and share your ideas!
