On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Group of Friends of Persons with Disabilities in Sudan (GFPD) will hold its 2nd meeting on 3 December, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm GMT+2. The objective of this event is to discuss the joint action plan and the opportunity to have a technical group working on common objectives to be presented to the GFPD, linked with the civil society organisations, organisations of persons with disabilities and national institutions.

The meeting will take place online through Zoom platform. It will be facilitated by Bridging the Gap Sudan and will be attended by the Italian Ambassador, Gianlugi Vassallo, and representatives from the Minister of Labour and SD/Undersecretary and the National Council of Persons with Disabilities.
